The AAFCA Awards had a variety of Oscar nominees in attendance!

Danielle Brooks, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, and Lily Gladstone had been all honored with awards on the 2024 African American Movie Critics Affiliation Awards on Wednesday (February 21) in Los Angeles.

Origin gained Greatest Drama and lead star Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor was given Greatest Actress, although she wasn’t there to simply accept.

Colman Domingo picked up Greatest Actor for Rustin and Sterling K. Brown gained Greatest Supporting Actor for American Fiction. There was a tie for Greatest Supporting Actress with Danielle successful for The Coloration Purple and Da’Vine successful for The Holdovers.

Lily gained the Breakout Efficiency award for Killers of the Flower Moon and the forged of The Coloration Purple gained for Greatest Ensemble.

American Fiction‘s Jeffrey Wright gained the Appearing Legend Award.

Danielle, Da’Vine, Lily, Colman, Sterling, and Jeffrey are all nominated on the Oscars!
