Nov 10 (Reuters) – Employees belonging to the United Auto Employees (UAW) at Basic Motors’ Flint meeting plant in Michigan have narrowly voted towards a proposed contract with the automaker, the union’s native chapter stated.
UAW Native 598 stated in a Fb publish on Thursday that 51.8% of votes solid have been towards the proposed deal.
Union staff are voting on contracts from every of Chrysler-owner Stellantis, Basic Motors and Ford Motor, after the primary coordinated strike towards Detroit’s Huge Three automakers.
