Marathon Digital (NASDAQ:) has begun mining (BTC) utilizing energy generated from methane gasoline siphoned off a landfill. The 280-kW off-grid pilot challenge is working in Utah.
Marathon teamed up with Nodal Energy on the challenge. Nodal Energy was launched in November 2022 and produces power from landfill gasoline within the southeastern United States and Texas. It raised $13 million in a seed spherical in August to function two websites, considered one of which features a information heart.
