Virgin Australia CEO Jayne Hrdlicka’s husband Jason Gaudin has died after an extended battle with cancer.
‘As lots of you recognize, my husband Jason was identified with a uncommon, aggressive, and in the end incurable most cancers in November of 2019,’ Ms Hrdlicka stated.
‘It’s with a really heavy coronary heart that I say, after an extended, tough, and courageous battle he has now handed on.’
In addition to the American-born Ms Hrdlicka, Mr Gaudin is survived by the couple’s two sons, Alec, who was born in 2004, and Josh, born in 2007.
‘For his sake, I’m grateful that the struggling is behind him. For our sake, it’s a devastating loss,’ she stated.

‘He was such a sort, loving, enjoyable and adventurous individual with a pointy and fast wit. Jason can be sorely missed as a father, husband, son, brother and buddy to many.’
